The results from investigation of the possibility of obtaining nonwoven materials from marine collagen are presented. Collagen fibers “Kolmarin” and collagen “placencol” were analyzed. A three-layer structural composition of collagen-containing nonwoven material was designed. A collection of samples of needle-punched nonwoven materials based on polyester, polypropylene, and viscose fibers with marine collagen as barrier element was developed. The results of physical and mechanical tests on prototypes of nonwoven materials based on marine collagen are presented.
