Studying the Phi Meson in Nuclear Matter by Simulating pA Reactions in a Transport Approach

After reviewing the status of recent theoretical studies of the \(\phi \) meson in nuclear matter, preliminary results of transport simulations of pA reactions probed at the KEK E325 experiment and the corresponding di-lepton spectra are presented. The focus of these simulations is laid on potential modifications in both mass and width of the \(\phi \) meson in nuclear matter.
