In response to the comment by M.I. Radulescu, the results in the original article publication are corrected and the degree of discrepancy is assessed to re-evaluate the accuracy of the semi-empirical model for predicting the trajectory of the transverse detonation during the re-initiation process of a diffracted cellular detonation wave from a channel. Despite a certain loss of accuracy, the conclusion of the original article remains valid.
