Weyl points and nodal lines in acoustic synthetic parameter space

Weyl semimetals, which are a class of materials, have attracted extensive attention in condensed matter physics. In this letter, we report one-dimensional layered sonic crystals that exhibit many exotic properties. Based on our simulations, the results show that the synthetic Weyl points and their reflection phase have a vortex structure in this acoustic system. The nontrivial interface states, accompanying huge local-field enhancements, are also exhibited. Furthermore, we predict that the nodal lines in synthetic parameter space exist in simulations. Our results show the great potential of exploring Weyl semimetals in one-dimensional acoustic systems.
