Variational Method for Hydrogen Atom Embedded in Non-ideal Classical Plasmas

The energies, radial moments, and radial distributions of different bound states [\(n=1-6\), \(l=0-5\); n and l being the principal and orbital angular momentum quantum numbers, respectively] of hydrogen atom embedded in non-ideal plasma background have been estimated under the framework of variational method. In order to study the effect of non-ideality, the same structural properties are also determined under the ideal classical plasma environment.
