Scaling behavior of dynamic hysteresis in epitaxial ferroelectric BaTiO3 thin films

The evolution of the dynamic hysteresis with electrical field amplitude (E) and frequency (f) in the ferroelectric BaTiO3 (BTO) single crystal films prepared by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) has been investigated systematically. A noticeable transition from the low-frequency behavior to the high-frequency one was confirmed by observing the obtained hysteresis loops and the change of the physical properties. In addition, the analysis of the theoretical model shows that the frequency dependence of domain motion is the cause of the dynamic hysteresis loop scaling behavior.
