Acute food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES) is a non-IgE-mediated food allergy characterized by the onset of delayed repetitive and projectile vomiting accompanied by other clinical manifestations such as pallor, hypotonia, lethargy, hypothermia and/or diarrhea (1).
