The boundedness and compactness of embedding from Dirichlet-Morrey spaces \({\mathcal {D}}_{p}^{\lambda }\) into tent spaces \({\mathcal {T}}^q_{ s}(\mu )\) are studied in this paper. For an application, a characterization for the boundedness of the Volterra operator \(T_g\) from \({\mathcal {D}}_{p}^{\lambda }\) to \(F\left( q,\frac{qp(1-\lambda )}{2},s\right) \) is given. The essential norm and compactness of \(T_g\) from \({\mathcal {D}}_{p}^{\lambda }\) to \(F\left( q,\frac{qp(1-\lambda )}{2},s\right) \) are also investigated.
