I am delighted to inform our authors and readers that Professor Dan Zhao of the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Professor Chunzhong Li of East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST), are joining our team of editors. Their appointments with I&EC Research began on June 1. Prof. Zhao is the Dean’s Chair Associate Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at NUS and a Clarivate Analytics’ Highly Cited Researcher (2019, 2020). Prof. Li is Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering at ECUST and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He has served previously on the Editorial Advisory Board for I&EC Research. These two new editors bring broad expertise in functional materials, microporous materials, membranes, polymer-based nanocomposites, electrochemistry, and electrochemical engineering, all of which intersect with the core I&EC Research topics of clean energy and environmental sustainability. Their joining the team will help us continue to effectively manage the many submissions in these research areas. These appointments add two more editorial offices in Asia, which is home to many of our readers, authors, and reviewers. Our team of associate editors now numbers 17 and includes offices in 7 countries and 4 continents. We welcome Prof. Li and Prof. Zhao to our global team of editors. I&EC Research has been at the forefront of chemical engineering research since 1909, and we continue today as the largest and most-cited general chemical engineering and applied chemistry research journal in the world.
