A Multidimensional Group Testing Approach for the Reagent Optimisation of a Suzuki C–C Coupling Reaction

A multidimensional group testing approach was utilised for the deconvolution of reagents for a Suzuki cross-coupling reaction. This proof of concept aimed to accelerate the identification of the best reagents for such a reaction. Two deconvolution approaches showed that K2CO3, ethanol and benzyldiphenylphosphine were the optimal reagents. With this approach, the optimal reagents are identified faster, and the number of reactions is drastically reduced.
