Abstract
The paper considers methodological issues of solving the inverse problem of electromagnetic sounding data. A critical analysis of the previously obtained joint solution for the results of three types of sounding in the fields of controlled and natural sources is carried out. This solution was obtained with several postulates obtained from the experimental data. Data from experiments completed on the Fennoscandian Shield are used; the analysis focuses on station B27 from the BEAR experiment in central Finland. Three methods for jointly solving the inverse problem for the results of magnetovariation, magnetotelluric BEAR and controlled-source FENICS soundings are discussed. Controlled transformation with a change in the geometry of the section makes it possible to increase the depth resolution.
