Abstract

This article details the experience of working multiple departments within one library. A key difference between departments of Circulation and Technical services is the demand of emotional labor. As a public service department, Circulation required higher levels of emotional labor from workers. More research is needed concerning emotional labor and library workers, especially between departments.
