Towards the end of 2020 I outlined the preliminary arrangements for the first Human Relations conference, which was due to be held in London during April 2022 as part of our celebrations for the 75^th anniversary of the journal (Learmonth, 2021). At the time it seemed likely that by April 2022 holding a mixed-media conference with both face-to-face and online participation would be feasible. As I write today (in May 2021) the pandemic is unfortunately still raging across many parts of the world, with devastating effects. It seems clear therefore, that the original date of April 2022 (even though it is still almost a year away) is simply no longer realistic.
