We describe the direct and inverse spectral problems for the block Jacobi type matrices corresponding to the two-dimensional half-strong real moment problem. In particular, we obtain three matrices with three-diagonal block structure acting in an l₂-type space as commuting self-adjoint operators; moreover, two of these matrices are mutually inverse.
