With the emergence of embedded and ubiquitous cyberphysical applications, the rationale of blending the physical and the virtual worlds has become ever promising. These papers examine several topics that are recently concerned in the community, including the software defined architectures and implementations, advanced machine learning and data analytics solutions, blockchain-based network services and applications, network function allocation, dependable and trustable solutions, energy efficient networks and services, and other enabling technologies for integrating softwarized networks into CPSs.
