Abstract
Asymmetric resonances are detected in experimentally measured extinction spectra of gold and palladium alloy particles. To determine the effect of the particle chemical composition on the resonance shape, the extinction cross section of nanoparticle heptamer was numerically simulated as a function of the ratio of elements in the alloy.
