Abstract
Dynamics of the broad-area laser with time-periodic modulation of the pump parameter and external optical radiation injection is theoretically studied. It is shown that injection efficiently suppresses transverse instabilities resulting from pump modulation. The injected signal parameters at which transverse instabilities are efficiently suppressed are determined.
