ABSTRACT

The cooling intensity of laminar cooling determines the microstructure of metal materials, thus affecting the performance of products, while the heat transfer coefficient directly affects the cooling intensity. A method to obtain the heat transfer coefficient of laminar cooling is proposed in this work. The distribution form of the heat transfer coefficient is obtained as a piecewise function composed of half wave sine and straight line with the nozzle as the center. The method of obtaining the characteristic parameters of the function through the structural parameters, operation parameters and experimental data is given. The accuracy of the method is verified by the experimental platform, and the influence of characteristic parameters on the temperature field of metal materials is analyzed. The mutual verification between the experimental results and the calculated results provides a strong theoretical basis for the field production process.
