Abstract

Spontaneous and magnetic-field-induced phase transition in a rigid lattice of the stripe domain structure of a uniaxial ferrite–garnet film are investigated experimentally. It is shown that the temperature and field stability intervals of the stripe domain lattice depend on the domain wall structure and magnetostatic energy. The peculiarities of the stripe domain lattice and of the lattice of cylindrical magnetic domains upon the variation of temperature and magnetic field are compared.
