The Age of the Epithermal Gold–Silver Mineralization at the Kubaka Deposit (Omolon Cratonic Terrane, Northeast Russia): Geological and Isotopic-Geochronological (U–Pb, 40 Ar/ 39 Ar) Constraints

This paper reports geological–structural and mineralogical data on the relationships of Paleozoic ore veins with Carboniferous and Mesozoic rocks at the Kubaka gold–silver deposit in the Omolon cratonic terrane. The presented observations are inconsistent with an Upper Carboniferous upper age limit of the deposit, which was inferred by Akinin et al. (2020) on the basis of isotope–geological studies of ores and rocks sampled in an outcrop of the ore body in the quarry of the Tsokol’naya Zone.
