Abstract

It considered a non-homogeneous allocation scheme of distinguishable particles by different cells. We proved gaussian and Poisson limit theorems for the number of empty cells from the first \(K\) cells. These results we apply to study the type I error and the type II error in select analogs of the empty box test.
