Abstract

The multidisciplinary expedition “European Arctic-2020” on board the R/V Akademik Mstislav Keldysh took place from July 31 to August 26, 2020. The investigations were carried out in the Norwegian Sea on the Mohns Mid-Oceanic Ridge (including the hydrothermal activity zone near Jan Mayen), near gas seeps in the Storfjord Trough, on the polar front in the Barents Sea, and on the continental slope of the Arctic Ocean at the drift ice boundaries at 83°18′ N.
