Recursive–iterative identification method for power converters

Control of power electronic converters is an application area where system identification is necessary due to the implementation of suitable controllers. Thanks to the identification process, it is possible to obtain a suitable mathematical model of the converter, which can be used for the design of its control. This article deals with the design of a new recursive–iterative identification method applicable in practice. The method has the task of finding a parametric model. The converter plant linear time-invariant model is found and described mathematically by its transfer function. The method is verified by simulation and also on a real sample of a synchronous buck converter.
