A compact wideband diplexer using stub-loaded square ring resonators

ABSTRACT

In this paper, a compact wideband diplexer is designed by combining two wideband filters based on stub-loaded square ring resonator (SLSRR). By adjusting the length of the stub or square ring, the passband bandwidth can be adjusted. The first channel has a center frequency of 4.3 GHz with a fractional bandwidth (FBW) of 50%. The second channel has a center frequency of 8.75 GHz with the FBW of 51.4%. The average isolation between the two channels is averagely greater than 25 dB. The designed diplexer has the advantages of easy design of wideband, simple structure, and informal matching of impedance.
