Of the many past editorials I have enjoyed re-reading, I have been particularly interested by that written in 2002 by Dr JMH Moll.¹ His retirement as Editor coincided with the tenth anniversary of the JMB and he took the opportunity to provide a fascinating summary of the early history of the journal as well as assess the extent to which the original aims had been met.
