Quantum Half and Full Spinning Operator-Based Nonlinear Confusion Component

The structure of a substitution box (S-box) is one of the principal ideas of the modern encryption techniques. The security of a modern encryption algorithm highly depends on its nonlinear confusion component. This component adds confusion in any encryption mechanism which is one of the most important ingredients. The proposed mechanism is based on the quantum rotation and spinning operator along with a random walk. The anticipated confusion component mechanism is further authenticated with standard benchmark cryptographic characteristics. The suggested confusion component scheme satisfies benchmark cryptographic characteristics required for the security of encryption algorithm.
