Though the textual policies and procedures of editors Bratton and Davis are frustratingly vague, perhaps, finally, the editors felt that the details of the texts themselves were of comparatively little importance. Still, the persistent typographical errors, and the occasional factual one, are not what a reader expects from Oxford University Press.
