Vol. 34, No. 3, September 2017 and Aristotle to understand (and Replace?) The Business Judgment Rule” while Christina Lupton also appeals to philosophy in “Walking on Flowers: the Kantian Aesthetics of Hard Times.” Where would our critics be without the dividing colon? Theodore Dalrymple tells his readers that his piece was first given to his students in North Korea. He has obviously survived the experience, and we hope his listeners did too. This compilation thus contains a well-chosen and varied range of material, historical, contextual and innovative, with which to approach Dickens’s novel. It would be fair to say that the contextual material outweighs the more conventionally literary critical; indeed the volume contains very little traditionally critical commentary of the novel. But that to some extent is of the nature of the novel itself and perhaps also of developments within the critical function. There is great variety here, and who these days can rely on simple explication du texte alone?

Paul Vita

卷。34, No. 3, September 2017 and Aristotle to understand (and Replace?) The Business Judgment Rule”,而 Christina Lupton 在“Walking on Flowers: the Kantian Aesthetics of Hard Times”中也诉诸哲学。
