Abstract People who are transgender are vulnerable to reported isolation and mental health concerns. Limited access to mental health counselors has an increased negative impact on persons who are transgender. The digital age has advanced electronic communication and interaction increasing connection of marginalized populations to each other and may benefit geographically isolated persons with limited access to culturally competent mental health providers. This article outlines benefits of technological interventions and provides recommendations to deliver culturally competent technology-infused transgender affirming mental health counseling.
