Abstract This article aims to deal with the « banlieue » narratives, such as testimonial or fictional narratives, according to the epistemic framework of Decoloniality Thought developped in South America and the migrant litterature poetics from Canada. We propose to analyse the memory work-in-progress that these narratives build, whereas cultural representations and collective memories of the « banlieue » populations can hardly reach a social visibility.
