ABSTRACT In a style all his own, and a flair that breaks-out of the crowd, Peter Sloterdijk shows us how we can take the thought of Heidegger into a new age. Not Saved: Essays after Heidegger is a collection of essays with its intent present in its title. Covering a fierce array of both philosophical and practical issues, Sloterdijk shows us that we can use the insights of Heidegger to gain a proper vantage point on contemporary issues such as technology and globalization. Its central essays provide a shuddering and profound insight into the human condition as such, and confront us with a re-framed view of ourselves. A Nietzschean twist on Heidegger lingers over these texts, and displays itself unapologetically.

Sloterdijk:

Not Saved: Essays after Heidegger
