Lisa Dillman has translated a number of Spanish and Latin American writers, most recently Andrés Barba and Yuri Herrera. Her translation of Herrera’s Señales que precederán al fin del mundo, Signs Preceding the End of the World, won the 2016 Best Translated Book Award. She teaches in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and is currently at work translating Andrés Barba’s República luminosa.
