Julian Burton

Julian Burton is a former teacher with a background in anthropology, media studies, and educational psychology and a recent graduate of the PhD program in childhood studies at Rutgers University–Camden. His work focuses on the intersection of young people’s participation rights and online culture, particularly the ways in which online communities enable flexible and informal politically relevant expression among youth.
