Single-exposure SNR-enhanced holography by combining angular with wavelength multiplexing

We present single-exposure SNR-enhanced holography (SE-SEH). In SE-SEH, three beams with different wavelengths simultaneously illuminate the sample (particle field) with varied oblique directions, a color CCD records the light transmitted through the sample. The information included in each color channel is retrieved by analyzing the RGB channels, and processed with a chromatic aberration corrected SEH reconstruction method. Experimental results show that SE-SEH can mitigate fixed pattern noise originating from multiple interferences between different optical interfaces, the artifacts resulting from diffraction by adjacent particles, the twin-image and the artifacts due to out-of-focus particles using a single illumination shot, making it attractive for the study of particles with fast events and dynamics.
