Influence of Glass Powder Additives on the Hydration Process of Portland Cement

Abstract

This article presents the results of microcalorimetric studies of the process of the interaction of the hydration products of Portland cement with additives of glass powders of various chemical compositions. It is found that when glass is added in a powder state, an increase in the rate of hydration of Portland cement is observed.
