Charge‐transfer‐induced intrinsic multivalent states in LaCoO3/SrTiO3 heterostructures are demonstrated by Xuefeng Wang, Wenqing Liu, Yong Pu, and co‐workers in article number 2000803. Interactions of these multivalent ions contribution to emergent ferromagnetism. Beyond LaCoO3/SrTiO3, a more broad charge‐transfer scenario with resultant multivalence or conducting interfaces in heterostructures is established, constituting powerful tools for the design of functional materials and creation of unconventional physical properties.
