A research model derived from the Transaction-BasedModelofStressandCopingTheorywasdevelopedandtestedusingaweb-based surveyquestionnaire.Thevariablesconsideredaretechnostresscreators,technostressinhibitors,job satisfaction,organizationalcommitment,andperceivedperformance.AStructuralEquationModel usingaconveniencesamplefromQatarpopulationwasusedtotestthemodel.Theresultsshowthat organizationalcommitmenthasasignificantpositiveeffectonperceivedperformance.Jobsatisfaction hasasignificantpositiveeffectonorganizationalcommitment.Technostresscreatorshaveasignificant negativeeffectonjobsatisfaction.Technostressinhibitorshaveasignificantpositiveeffectonjob satisfaction.Implicationsformanagersandresearchersarereported.
