non-Indigenous planners need to approach it as these authors have done over the past decade or two: unflinchingly, critically, with respect and humility, and in partnership with traditional owners. The Planning Institute of Australia now rightly requires that Indigenous perspectives be addressed in the education of future planners. This book helps to show how we might achieve this in a nontokenistic way, by placing the relationship between planning and Indigenous Australians at the heart of the stories we tell. It should be required reading for all students, academics and practitioners.
