Effect of Li doping on dielectric properties of Na1−xKxNbO3, x = 0.500, morphotropic phase region

Abstract

Li doped sodium-potassium niobate (Na0.5K0.5)1-yLiyNbO3 ceramic pellets, with y = 0 to 7 (mole) %, were prepared by solid state reaction method with double sintering. With varying lithium content (y), dielectric properties, and X-ray diffraction (XRD) peaks shifting pattern exhibit strong compositional dependence. Among the prepared Composition, a break in XRD peaks shifting tendency, and maximum dielectric constant, electric conductivity were obsreved at the composition with y = 0.06.
