Understanding the continuous usage in wireless sensor networks of wisdom agriculture

With the development of sensor technology, wireless sensor networks have been paid great attention in many fields. Agriculture is one of such domains where wireless sensor networks are successfully used for the monitoring and protection of agricultural environment. In order to bring out the wild applications of wireless sensor networks in wisdom agriculture, this paper mainly examined the factors affecting user continuous adoption of wireless sensor networks based on extended technology acceptance model (TAM). Through the employment of structural equation model technology, a continuous adoption model of wireless sensor networks is proposed and assessed based on the statistical data from 256 questionnaires. The results shows that flow experience and user satisfaction have direct influences on the continuous usage of wireless sensor networks. Additionally, social norms and perceived cost, as the critical independent variables, significantly affect flow experience which further has an influence on the continuous usage intention of mobile games. Finally, this study also provides practical suggestions for wireless sensor networks vendors to facilitate the continuous usage of agricultural wireless sensor networks.
