This January 2021 issue of the Journal of Mixed Methods Research (JMMR) includes an editorial about racializing research rhetoric, five articles and one media review. Three articles address mixed methods intervention studies (Mannell et al., 2021; Munce et al., 2021; Shim et al., 2021), and three illustrate involvement of research participants as part of a mixed methods analysis (Mannell et al., 2021; Alexander, et al., 2021; and Shannon et al., 2021).
