Production of Hydrogen through High-Temperature Electrolysis of Water

Abstract

High-temperature electrolysis for hydrogen production using electricity and high-grade heat is considered. Calculated data on the efficiency of this production are presented, along with the characteristics of the corresponding devices, specificities of their use, and the design of an electrolyzer for this purpose, providing optimal conditions for the functioning of electrochemical cells with nanostructured electrolyte and electrode catalysts.
