Regimes of Pulsed Generation in a $$\textrm{Nd}:\textrm{YAG}$$-Laser with Different Optical Circuits of Resonators

Abstract Some results of the study of different circuits implementing the simultaneous mode locking and Q-switching of a resonator with the use of a spherical mirror and a travelling-wave acoustooptical modulator (SMAOM method) in a $$\textrm{Nd}:\textrm{YAG}$$ laser are considered. The output time and energy characteristics are presented for a diode-pumped $$\textrm{Nd}:\textrm{YAG}$$ laser with SMAOM and powerful picosecond tunable $$\sim$$ 620-nm radiation resulting from the cascade conversion of the frequency of a superluminescent parametric generator with pumping by means of such a laser.
