RD has been notoriously problematic to define and relate to other phenomena; so in spite of it having been extensively studied in the recent and not-so-recent past it still deserves close attention. Given the experience of the authors in this field and their extensive referencing of important contributions, one could expect the article to provide a typologically oriented state-of-the-art report as well as advance the discussion.
