Networkslicinghasbeenconsideredapromisingtechnologyinnextgenerationmobilenetworks(5G), whichcancreatevirtualnetworksandprovidecustomizedserviceondemand.Mostexistingworks onnetworkslicingmainlyfocusonvirtualizationtechnology,andhavenotconsideredin-network cachingwell.However, in-network caching, as theoneof thekey technologies for informationcentricnetworking(ICN),hasbeenconsideredasasignificantapproachin5Gnetworktocopewith thetrafficexplosionandnetworkchallenges.Inthisarticle,theauthorsjointlyconsiderin-network cachingcombiningwithnetworkslicing.Theyproposeanefficientcachingresourcesharingscheme fornetworkslicingin5Gcorenetwork,aimingatsolvingtheproblemofhowtoefficientlysharethe limitedphysicalcachingresourceofInfrastructureProvider(InP)amongmultiplenetworkslices. Inaddition,fromtheperspectiveofnetworkslicing,theauthorsformulatecachingresourcesharing problemasanon-cooperativegame,andproposeaniterationalgorithmbasedoncachingresource updatingtoobtaintheNashEquilibriumsolution.Simulationresultsshowthattheproposedalgorithm hasgoodconvergenceperformance,andillustratetheeffectivenessoftheproposedscheme.
