Visually Impaired(VI)peoplegenerally facedifficultiesduring theirpedestriancommute,when forcedontoside-walksclutteredwithvendors,animalsandotherobstacles.Nosinglesystemcan comprehensivelycoveralloftheirmobilityneeds.Theproposedsystemintendstoprovidesmart electronicaidfortheVIwhichisappropriatetocomplementtheirwhitecaneusingtheprinciples oftheIoT.Itdetectsanylow-lyingobstaclesonitscourseandalertstheusertothemandalsouses GlobalPositioningSystem(GPS)technologywhichisacomponentofanysmartphone,topinpoint theVI’slocationwhennecessary.Afeedbacksystem,whichisessentiallyasimpleauditorycircuit, whichalarmstheuserofanyobstacle,andinformspriorydesignatedguardiansabouttheVI’scurrent whereabouts,donebytransmittingthecoordinatesofVItoaregisteredmobilenumberfedintoan AndroidApplication.
