The book is a wonderful collection of peer-reviewed papers on power electronic converters and control for dc microgrid systems. After a preface by Prof. Frede Blaabjerg recommending the book, the chapters review the state of the art in wind energy conversion systems. Then, research outcomes are presented, such as multichannelbased microgrids; large-scale renewable energy integration issues, such as low-voltage ride-through and high-voltage ride-through, and corresponding solutions as well as dc grids for domestic electrification.
