Abstract—
A method for exciting the detonation process and its development in onboard low-pulse shatter-proof separation devices and in the units for initiating detonation equipped by high-energy elastic materials (HEEM) is examined. The relationships for calculating detonation initiation reliability for the HEEM charge are presented and practical recommendations for increasing it are given.
