L2-incremental gain stability of linear systems with nonlinear Lipschitz actuator

Abstract In this manuscript we study the problem of finding incremental L 2 -gain of a class of nonlinear systems obtained by combining a linear plant and a general dynamic controller and a nonlinear actuator. The proposed method allows for the existence of possible nonlinear imperfections in the actuator. The justification of the proposed approach is provided through a compelling example.
