Railway transit network design based on fuzzy plant growth simulation algorithm

ABSTRACT

 We propose a mathematical model to solve the railway transit network design problem, considering the total time spent in the travel of all the passengers on the network as the optimization goal. The number of passengers to be transported, train accommodating capacity, station capacity, railway section capacity, and available train number is taken as the constraints in the model. Then, we design a heuristic algorithm – fuzzy plant growth simulation algorithm to solve the model. A computing case, based on the data of the railway network of part of East China is presented to prove the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm. The approach presented in this paper can help to design the service plan in the view of the railway network for the railway operators.

摘要

 我们提出了一个数学模型来解决轨道交通网络设计问题,以网络上所有乘客的旅行总时间为优化目标。模型中以拟运送旅客人数、列车容纳能力、车站容量、路段容量、可用车次为约束条件。然后,我们设计了一种启发式算法——模糊植物生长模拟算法来求解模型。以华东部分地区铁路网数据为基础,给出了一个计算案例,证明了所提模型和算法的效率和有效性。本文提出的方法可以帮助铁路运营商从铁路网络的角度设计服务计划。
